Liposuction Cost/Pricing

The Body You Want, Liposuction Cost Starting at $895 an Area!

Liposuction is a surgical fat-reduction technique that removes excess fat from areas of the body. This procedure is less about weight loss and more about body-sculpting. Liposuction can remove those stubborn pockets of fat that you can’t lose with diet and exercise, improving your shape, your proportions, and even how your clothes fit.

During a liposuction procedure, an experienced surgeon uses a fine needle to access fat pockets. The fat is broken up and removed using a suction device attached to the needle. It takes around 30 minutes to perform liposuction on one area of the body. If you’re having fat removed from multiple areas, your procedure will take longer. And if you’re combining liposuction with another surgical procedure, such as a tummy tuck, you can expect it to take a couple hours.

Average Liposuction Cost

If you’re considering liposuction, you’re likely wondering how much the procedure costs. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of liposuction is $3,518.

Cosmetic surgeons at RealSelf.com note that the industry standard is to charge on a “per-area” basis. This means your liposuction costs are based on the areas you have treated. But the amount you pay also depends on factors such as:

  • The size and difficulty of your treatment areas – This affects the cost because difficult treatment areas take longer, and larger areas need more time and more resources.
  • The type of liposuction performed – Specialized techniques such, as laser-assisted or ultrasound-assisted liposuction, may have a higher per-area fee.
  • The surgeon’s level of experience and reputation – Generally, a more experienced surgeon with a good reputation charges more.
  • Additional fees, like the anesthetist’s fee and operating room costs – These are set by the anesthetist, hospital, or clinic. They are time-based, meaning the longer the procedure, the higher the cost.

People who have liposuction sometimes find that the amount they end up paying is more than the amount they are quoted. This happens when extra fees such as the anesthetist’s fee and operating room fee aren’t included in the surgeon’s quote.

Transparency in Liposuction Cost, with No Hidden Fees

DFW Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery is different in that transparency is very important to us. We want you to know exactly what you’re getting for the money you spend—and how much you should expect to budget for this procedure. We value your business and want to provide the best-value service that we can. That’s why we offer flat-rate liposuction pricing on a per-area basis, with no hidden fees. You pay the per-area price, plus a flat Facility Fee of $1499, and that’s it. There are no extra anesthetist fees or operating-room fees to pay. You won’t be surprised with extra fees tacked on to your original quote.

We aim to make our procedures affordable for anyone who wants them. Our prices are about 50% less than our competitors, but we don’t compromise on quality or results. We often hear from patients who shop for quotes, only to find that other plastic surgeons charge two to three times more for the same procedures.

We offer low rates because we specialize in liposuction and fat transfer techniques. We’ve performed over 5,000 such procedures and developed highly efficient protocols and routines. As a result, we can offer the great outcome you want at a lower-than-average cost.

Breaking Down Your Liposuction Costs

Per-Area Fee

At DFW Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery, your liposuction cost is charged on a per-area basis, meaning you pay a flat rate for each area you want to have treated. You’ll know what the cost is after your liposuction consultation, where our staff and doctors will perform a thorough exam and discuss the liposuction results you want. You’ll receive a final cost before your procedure.

For most parts of the body listed, both the left and the right sides are counted as two separate areas. For instance, breast reduction is two areas, while jowls, chin, upper abdomen, lower abdomen, pubis, tailbone, and buffalo hump / dorsocervical fat pad count as a single area. In general, one area is equivalent to 8″ x 4″, or the equivalent of a large cryo-lipolysis (e.g., Cool Sculpting) applicator.

In some cases, we may charge an additional fee for larger patients. This is because if the area requested is substantially larger than usual, extra supplies and time are needed to perform the work. The higher pricing is only reflective of the extra resources needed.

We Make Liposuction Affordable

# of Areas Price Per Area*
1 Area $895
2 Areas $1790
3 Areas $2685

*Additional areas are available, but at additional cost. Pricing may differ based on additional work required and supplies used. A provider will do a thorough examination at your consultation and provide you with a final cost before your procedure. Time sensitive promotions may change pricing and/or areas.
